Judy Danielson is a Senior Regulatory Consultant at CardioMed Device Consultants. She provides clinical, engineering, and regulatory consulting services for medical device and related industries, specializing primarily in interventional peripheral and cardiology devices.

Prior to joining CardioMed, Ms. Danielson worked for seventeen years at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the Office of Device Evaluation (ODE), first as a consumer safety officer and then fourteen years as a scientific reviewer in the Interventional Cardiology Devices Branch and the Peripheral Vascular Devices Branch. As a scientific reviewer, she served as primary reviewer for coronary and peripheral stents, occluders, and interventional therapeutic and diagnostic catheters.

Ms. Danielson came to FDA with thirteen years of clinical experience as an RN working in coronary/medical intensive care units and medical units. She earned her Master's of Public Health degree from Johns Hopkins University and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Wisconsin.
