Gambrills, MD, September 25, 2006 - CardioMed Device Consultants proudly announces the addition of Elisa D. Harvey, DVM, PhD, to its growing team of professionals. Starting October 2, 2006, Dr. Harvey joins CardioMed after working more than ten years with FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health in various review and supervisory positions, including Chief of the Peripheral Vascular Devices Branch and Director of the Investigational Device Exemption (IDE) and Humanitarian Device Exemption (HDE) programs. Dr. Harvey holds a DVM degree from Tufts University, PhD and MS degrees from the University of Connecticut, and a BS degree from Mary Washington University. She brings a considerable body of basic science, preclinical, and regulatory expertise to CardioMed, and is a welcome addition to its team of consultants. |
